Why we must always seize the day and never let the opportunity pass should we be faced with it

Skype call with an old friend of mine.

There was a time over a decade ago when I could have had her… or should I say we could have had each other! The vibe was always electric between the two of us, and she is properly crazy! But the window has passed and she is happily married etc…

…why did the window pass? Here there is no doubt – because I allowed it to. I did not understand how to man up and take the lead. I could have done anything however clunky and unsmooth and I believe – I know – that we would have gotten together. But did I? No. Why?

• no understanding that it is my job to take responsibility for the outcome by actioning in the present
• FEAR

No more. She is as awesome as ever, and would almost certainly have enhanced my life rather than been a drain on it.

Action – just take it. Nothing to loose and you literally never know what the outcome will be.
